Your Responsibilities
- Analysis of Demand and Service Offerings
- Conduct research to assess guest demand, market trends, and competition for short-term accommodation.
- Design accommodation services tailored to market demand (e.g., luxury, budget, family-friendly, pet-friendly).
- Establish service packages, pricing structures, and optional services (e.g., cleaning, concierge) to attract guests and maximize revenue.
- Resource and Financial Planning
- Determine financial, staffing, material, and logistical needs for short- and long-term operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets to ensure resource allocation for maintenance, marketing, guest services, and operations.
- Identify staffing requirements to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Guest Experience and Comfort
- Ensure accommodations are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
- Make special arrangements for guests with unique needs (e.g., families, elderly, individuals with mobility challenges).
- Provide amenities like Wi-Fi, entertainment systems, kitchen facilities, and optional services such as tours, transportation, or in-room dining.
- Local Partnerships
- Liaise with local businesses (e.g., restaurants, tour operators) to create exclusive offers for guests.
- Organize entertainment, local experiences, or events to enhance guest stays.
- Financial and Operational Management
- Manage guest payments, bills, and invoices efficiently.
- Maintain detailed financial records and provide property performance reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire safety, and licensing regulations for short-term rentals.
- Provisioning and Inventory Management
- Work with suppliers to stock essentials like linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage costs effectively to avoid shortages.
You Will Need:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess market demand, pricing, and competition for effective service design.
- Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and profitability.
- Customer Service Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local laws, health, and safety regulations.
- Operational Efficiency: Ability to manage resources, staff, and daily operations seamlessly.
